First Ted Nugent Moves here and now this...
AUSTIN — Gov. Rick Perry signed into law today a bill that gives Texans a stronger legal right to defend themselves with deadly force in their homes, cars and workplaces.
Both chambers of the Legislature overwhelmingly approved the measure earlier this month. The bill, backed by the National Rifle Association, states that a person has no duty to retreat from an intruder before using deadly force. "The right to defend oneself from an imminent act of harm should not only be clearly defined in Texas law, but it is intuitive to human nature. You ought to be able to protect yourself," Perry said, surrounded by lawmakers who pushed for the law. This is the first bill-signing this legislative session by the Republican governor. The law takes effect Sept. 1. "This is reasonable legislation," Perry said. The building or vehicle must be occupied at the time for the deadly force provision to apply, and the person using force cannot provoke the attacker or be involved in criminal activity at the time. Some refer to the measure as the "castle doctrine," drawing from the idea that a man's home is his castle and that he should have the right to defend it. Fifteen other states have passed similar laws. Texas is the first state to pass such a law this year, said Rep. Joe Driver, a Garland Republican who sponsored the measure. Sen. Jeff Wentworth, a San Antonio Republican who pressed the issue in his chamber, said the law changes previous Texas law that in some cases requires a person to retreat from an intruder. The new law will also provide civil immunity for a person who lawfully uses deadly force in any of the circumstances spelled out in the bill. Police and prosecutors can still press charges if they feel deadly force was illegally used, legislative sponsors said. (Makes me feel all warm and Fuzzy Inside!)
Now if we could just find a bullet cheap enough to be used on Rosie "Fat-Ass" O'Donnell....

Something in the Water in Portland?
OK so I turn on the TV and see some tree hugging, sandal wearing, granola eating, pot smoking, left wing pinko commie bastards up in the apparent new home of dumb-ass stupidity otherwise known as Portland burning an American flag, holding a sign that reads Fuck the Troops, and burning in effigy an American soldier. OK last time I looked this was still the land of the free and the home of the brave. If it were me I would have rounded all the fuckers up and shot each and every one of them point blank between the eyes, then move on to their extended family and household pets, just to keep this obvious shallow gene pool from ever re-producing again. (OK unless your an idiot that is a joke...but it does represent how I feel towards these Starbucks coffee sucking retards, besides it would be a waste of bullets on theses fucktards.) In fact I would just like to round them up and drop them into the middle of Iran, Afghanistan, or Jordan, or some other such place and let them see first hand what it is they think they know. I believe in the right to free speech, but where exactly do you draw the line between free speech and downright treason? You would have never seen this kind of protest happen or even made public during WW I or WW II. Even if you don't agree with the reason we are over there, In my opinion you still have the duty as an American to keep up the morale of our men and women in combat. Why burn a U.S. Soldier in effigy? After all a soldier is simply doing his job just like these fidiots (assuming they have jobs and aren't using my tax money to fund their little rally). The Troops are not directly responsible they didn't ask to be sent over seas. When I see pictures like the ones taken In Portland it makes me physically ill. If it were me I would protest and ban anything coming out of Oregon just to show these dumb asses what being a real American is all about and how we all feel about their idiotic little rally. They didn't even have the guts to do what they did without hiding behind a mask! I would deport each and everyone and take away their citizenship and let them flounder in the real world for a second. To quote ol' Jack, "How dare you sleep under the warm blanket of freedom and then question the manner in which we provide it." Can't have you cake and eat it too people. Hopefully the Higher power out there will bring on the big one and the left coast will fall off into the ocean so the rest of us can get on with helping out the troops and do what we can to keep their sprits up and bring them home..

What Now?
My daughter was allowed to go to town yesterday to a friends birthday party and then to spend the night. About 11:00 the mother called to tell us our daughter ran off with her boyfriend.....That was 12 hours ago and still no word. What do i do now? She has put me, her Mother and little brother through hell in the last year. Do I come down on her like a ton of bricks? Do i have the boy arrested? Do i send her to juvenile detention or an all girls boarding school? I'm at a loss and ready to give up on her...at this point she is a waste of skin. It seems no matter what we do or try, the situation just seems to get worse. I think its time for some tough love, she wants to try an act like an adult time to treat her like one....as far as I'm concerned she no longer lives here...her clothes and a few items will be packed and left waiting on the porch, and i'm having all the locks changed and reporting her as a run-away.

The Fucktards are at it again
Hope somebody is actually out there reading...
HI HERPERS:: WE NEED YOUR HELP ... The following House Bill has been introduced to the Texas Legislature by Representative Harvey Hilderbran, a Republican, who represents the Kerrville area in the House. This would affect all of those who own or possess or transport into this state a live venomous snake or live constrictor that is not indigenous to this country, (That's right, country, not county.) This proposed Bill would require permits from everyone who deals with these reptiles and will be enforced by Texas Parks & Wildlife. Please participate in this important Legislation. We need to send letters, emails, faxes or make phone calls to Rep. Harvey Hildebran as well as the members on this Committee. We also need to contact the House Representatives and Senators in our area, as well as the Governor, Lt. Governor and Speaker of the House. IF YOU HAVE PHOTOS OF YOUR CHILDREN HOLDING SNAKES (A LITTLE BALL PYTHON OR BOA) THAT IS NON-NATIVE TO THIS COUNTRY, PLEASE ATTACH THEM. THIS WILL BE EFFECTIVE IN GETTING TO THE HEART OF THIS MATTER -- CUTE PICTURES AND CUTE CHILDREN! WE WILL ACT AS A CLEARINGHOUSE FOR ALL OF THESE DOCUMENTS. IN THE EVENT WE ARE ABLE TO MEET WITH THIS COMMITTEE IN AUSTIN, ALL OF THESE DOCUMENTS WILL BE VERY HELPFUL. WE CAN'T STRESS THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS. 1. This is just as important for you. This also pertains to those of you who transport into Texas.
5. SAMPLE LETTER This is a sample letter that you can send to the legislators. You can add or delete the contents, and add any other comments you may have. Remember, send us a copy and include photos if you have any. We need to act fast on this! Dear Representative / Senator / Governor / Lt. Governor / Speaker of the House __________________ We are a group of hobbyists who keep reptiles and we vehemently oppose your pending legistation, HB 1309. We feel our rights to house or purchase ANY reptiles, whether indigenous or not to this country, should be without restraints or dictated by law. We are professionals, zoo curators, students, animal care technicians, breeders and hobbyists, plus we are represented by people from all walks of life. The impending legislation HB 1309, would prohibit our passion and life long endeavor for caring or studying reptiles. This affects not only Texas residents, but people from other states or countries who bring non-native Texas snakes into Texas. Did you ever stop to think that many children and adults who are allergic to dogs and cats have found an alternative with snakes and other reptiles? In fact, one of the most popular beginner snakes is the Ball Python which comes from Central Africa. Ball Pythons are a small species, are very hearty and require minimal care, as opposed to dogs and cats. Plus, we know of no one who is allergic to snakes and other reptiles! What is your agenda behind this H.B. 1309? Who are the constituents who asked you to present this Bill? We are a huge group of voters and we want our voices to be heard. Your name Your address Your county (if in Texas)

Another Year Older
Well October 30th is here again which means I'm another year older....we won't say how old because at the moment I'm really feeling it (My age that is). Van Halen was inducted into the Hall of Fame and only Sammy, and Michael bothered to show up, not to mention the also inducted a rapper WTF? it's called the ROCK-N-ROLL hall of fame. Black Sabbath has gotten back together minus Bill Ward and Ozzy. They have released three new studio tracks with Dio at the Helm. I'm a huge Sabbath Fan and as much as i hate to admit it, the Dio years musically speaking were better than those with Ozzy. I often think i was born during the wrong era, (why you ask) well I seem to enjoy things from a bygone era. I recently decided to start a collection of Walking sticks, Canes, and Sword Canes. It's funny how in other countries it is OK for a man to carry a cane at any age but here in America if your not retired and carry one your either gay, or an entertainer, or both...lol. I have purchased four so far, two of which are Sword canes. One is a very simply black shaft with a stainless chromed knob and a cruciform poniard style blade. The other is kind of cheesy with a skull head and your ordinary double edged blade. Waste of money probably but i think they are cool and you never know i might actually need them one day. I used to wish I could be John Steed from the Avengers...lol I'm ranting at this point oh well its close to 2 a.m. and my birthday, I guess I'm allowed. Also I stand up when women leave a table, open doors etc. and you wouldn't believe the looks I get when I do this, it's like I had bees on my face or something. (My Mother raised me right in that respect i suppose) and I love clothes from the 20's and 40's. Ah well...
Man I hope there are brownies when I get up in the morning, that and some new socks...lol
