Anyway the other day I met a marine on his way home from Afghanistan....he had lost part of his right leg, most of his left arm, his left eye, and had shrapnel scars. Some stupid left wing bitch was actually gave him crap, saying his injuries were his fault..they were a form of punishment for being a soldier, and killing people...I couldn't help myself I fucking lost it! I told her that there was a special place in the deepest pits of hell for people like her, and that i hoped that she was horribly disfigured in an accident so i could call her names and tell her that her God was punishing her for being a cunt!
After she stomped off, the Corporal actually admonished me for talking to her that way....and we struck up a conversation....I discovered that he had a five year old daughter at home, and the thing he feared the most was that she would be scared of the way he looked, and wouldn't want to hug him...I have to tell you I about burst into tears on the spot! The most I could muster was to tell him thank you for his service...and I told him not to worry, his little girl wouldn't see the damage to his body...she would just be happy to heave her daddy at home.
