Sappy?

OK so my son and i went to go see the recent Ghost Rider film. Mom was at work big Sister was off doing her "teenager thing" and it was just us guys. I was a huge Ghost Rider fan as a young man and never really grew out of it. I wanted to share this part of my childhood with my child. So off we went....We both really enjoyed the film (even though i was a wee bit upset that the mythology of the film was not quite the same as the comic). As we were walking out of the cinema, my son looks up at me and says, "that was the coolest movie ever!" which made me smile and feel pretty good that it was me that took him to see the film and not anyone else...lol. I needed to pick up a few things at the store anyway so one we got to the store we wandered over to the toy section and i bought him a Ghost Rider toy (which made me the coolest Dad ever..lol) and then we went out to eat. When we finally got home my son (while unwrapping his new toy looked at me across the counter and says, "today was the coolest day ever!) Wow,... gulp,.... hard to swallow etc.....
Later that night as I'm getting ready for bed i noticed i still had the ticket stubs in my pocket, and while standing there looking at them i decided to commemorate our "guys day out" by constructing a small Ghost Rider shrine....I used some of the packaging from the box his toy came in, i digitally scanned the cover of a Ghost Rider comic, a little glue a little red paint, some scrap lumber.... threw in the ticket stubs......put it all together into the picture you now see and wham! once again i am the coolest dad ever...and maybe just maybe he has a story to share with his child someday.....
It's the small things that are important people
take advantage of each day...

The Fat lady Farted...

Rosie O'Donnell has fought her last fight at "The View." ABC said Friday she asked for, and received, an early exit from her contract at the daytime chatfest following her angry confrontation with co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck on Wednesday. (Reminded me of Jabba- the-Hutt vs. Princess Leia Organa) She was due to leave in mid-June.

It ended a colorful eight-month tenure for O'Donnell that lifted the show's ratings but no doubt caused heartburn for show creator Barbara Walters. O'Donnell feuded with Donald Trump and frequently had snippy exchanges with the more conservative Hasselbeck.
O'Donnell said last month she would be leaving because she could not agree to a new contract with ABC executives.

(The same ABC that has leaked and exposed current and ongoing CIA special OPS overseas endangering the lives of yet more Americans...)

"Rosie contributed to one of our most exciting and successful years at `The View,'" Walters said. "I am most appreciative. Our close and affectionate relationship will not change." (Translation: Glad the bitch is gone and i don't have to apologize to anyone for her behavior anymore...lol)

In a statement, O'Donnell said that "it's been an amazing year and I love all three women."
No one was feeling the love on Wednesday, when the argument with Hasselbeck began over O'Donnell's statement last week about the war: "655,000 Iraqi civilians have died. Who are the terrorists?" (Good thing all our brave men and women are dying to protect her right to be a stupid bitch)

Talk show critics accused O'Donnell of calling U.S. troops terrorists. She called Hasselbeck "cowardly" for not saying anything in response to the critics. (Its ok Liz i wouldn't want to defend her either...)

"Do not call me a coward, because No. 1, I sit here every single day, open my heart and tell people what I believe," Hasselbeck retorted, and their riveting exchange continued despite failed attempts by their co-hosts to cut to a commercial. (Elizabeth should have let her have it with both barrels way before now.)

According to a New York Post report, O'Donnell's chief writer, Janette Barber, was allegedly led out of the building on Wednesday after she was caught drawing mustaches on photographs of Hasselbeck (Childish) in "The View" studios. ABC executives didn't return repeated calls for questions on the incident Friday.

On Thursday O'Donnell had asked for a day off to celebrate her partner's birthday. "The View" aired a taped show on Friday. (No Class...No Balls)

Gene Simmons Rocks!

In Case some of you have not been watching Gene Simmons, front man for the band KISS and star of the television show Gene Simmons Family Jewels, visited base with his 14-year-old daughter Sophie Tweed-Simmons to “assist her with some homework,” for their upcoming reality show. “He brought me here to help me out with a school assignment,” Sophie said. While completing her assignment on the military with her father, the pair received much attention from Marines on base. “He’s the god of rock; that’s all there is to it,” said Cpl. Rory Murray, a scout swimmer from 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, who got to shake the legend’s hand. While on base, the duo took part in a variety of Marine Corps activities, starting at the Assault Amphibious Vehicle Battalion at Del Mar. “It’s pretty exciting for the Marines,” said Master Sgt. Richard A. Gross, an Amtrack instructor for the school who helped Simmons when he challenged Sophie with the AAV simulators. While he may have lost the initial challenge against his daughter in the simulator, the fact that they were there meant a lot to the Marines. “It shows his support of what we do,” Gross said, from Clarion, Penn.
After the demonstration, the father and daughter suited up in protective gear and headed out into the Del Mar Marina for a ride on the real thing. Once they experienced the speed and capabilities of the Amtrack, the two decided to get a better taste of the Corps by drill instructors. “I started smiling,” Simmons said about his first “introduction” with two former drill instructors. “Boy, was that a mistake,” said the towering 6-foot-2-inch man who received ridicule for his display of emotion. A safety brief was given to the cast at Camp Horno’s pool. Gene and Sophie attempted a variety of swimming events, from swimming with rubber rifles and packs to jumping from the lower tower weighed down by their gear. Putting the pool behind them, the two headed over to Camp Horno’s obstacle course after being outfitted with their new uniforms. Instead of putting on his traditional stage costume and assuming the role as the demon, Simmons laced up his Marine combat boots and pulled on his desert camouflage utilities to challenge his daughter and test his skills. When they saw the demonstration of the course, Simmons was a bit skeptical. “You’re out of your mind, I’m never going to get over the bar like that,” said a perplexed Simmons once he was shown the “chicken wing” maneuver.
“I love the name of it though: chicken wing.” Simmons did manage to make it over some of the obstacles, much to his daughter’s surprise. “I seriously did not think he was going to get over that,” Sophie said when she saw her father clear the medium-sized barriers throughout the course. After a tough workout throughout the course, they ran over to the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program pit to learn some basic maneuvers. “If you can’t tell by the haircut, this one’s a male,” said Simmons’ former drill instructor Gunnery Sgt. Bret D. Baker, Headquarters and Support Battalion, Marine Corps Base, about his out-of-regulations haircut as he was introduced to his MCMAP instructor. “He called my ‘do an Afro. I don’t have an Afro,” retorted Simmons out of earshot of the “D.I.” “There’s a huge sense of pride in being a Marine and knowing that many have gone before you, with some paying the ultimate sacrifice,” Simmons said. Sophie also felt that way when she competed against her father in the obstacle course.
“It makes you walk taller, run faster and be stronger,” she said about her time as a “Marine.”
Originally from Haifa, Israel, Simmons lives with his long-term girlfriend Shannon Tweed, with whom he raised his two children Sophie and Nick Tweed-Simmons. “It’s a privilege to be here,” he said. “Everyone wants to come here and have the opportunities that our fighting men and women provide them.” The rock star plans on giving back to the Marines by putting on a concert at the base theater. While they may not all be members of his army, Simmons respects the Marines for serving their country. “Marines are our modern day knights in shining armor,” exclaimed Simmons, standing tall in his desert utilities. He also got a local Insurance company and Kragens auto Parts to fund a new state of the art mobile medical facility for the local V.A. Hospital. Not to mention his visit to the V.A. Hospital with his daughter Sophie where he looked several wounded soldiers in the eye shook their hands and told them thank you!

In an effort to beef up my breeding stock and get a little more variety in my Amazon collection, I recently added these two beauties to my stable.....The wife is a little ticked that i keep bringing home animals that i can't interact with (meaning a can't handle them without investing in a case of band aids and antibacterial ointment...lol) but there is something really satisfying about walking into the snake room and finding these little gems curled up on a tree branch and just hanging out....lol

Childhood and Memory Lane...

So I'm cruising through my local Wal-Mart the other day when a DVD case on the rack catches my attention....Sure enough its a 2 movie collection... a couple of Disney films from my past...Escape to Witch Mountain and Return from Witch Mountain. I have not seen these films since i was a child.....as i suddenly blurted out this fact my 9 year old son simply stated the obvious....buy them....

10 dollars lighter we got home and popped them into the player and i was suddenly transported back in time......the funny thing is my 9 year old was also engrossed simply proving the even though these films are at least 25 years old they still stand the test of time

not to mention i had a huge crush on Kim Richards (Tia) when i was a kid......

but the most importing thing here is i got to share a moment with my son...lol

New Caging Idea

I told you guys I have been experimenting...well My wife's work was throwing out a bunch of these old high speed dot matrix printer boxes and i thought hey wait a minute, i could make cages and incubators out of these....lol. So i took apart one stripped the insulation off, replaced the cardboard bottom with real wood, resurfaced everything in wood grain contact paper, glued it back together with gorilla glue, sealed all the seams with GE Silicone II, put in a 18'' under cabinet light, put in a ceramic socket (into which I placed a Pearlco IR heat emitter which will be replaced with a heat panel when it gets here) placed in a tree branch, added a couple of latches and ta da cage....when it all cures i will put several inches of cypress mulch on the bottom and add snake....these things are great they have a built in fan for circulation are melamine coated and everything...lol. 35 inches long 24 inches deep and 19 inches tall the only bad thing is they can only go on top of something due to the slope and the way they open...but not a problem i plan to put two 36" x 24" x 24" s under a few of these...what do you guys think?

Yeah!

NEW YORK -
Rosie O'Donnell's stormy tenure on "The View" will be a short one. The opinionated host was unable to agree on a contract with ABC, and she'll leave the show in June!

I'm sure Disney wasn't feeling any heat at all were they? Even though many advertisers were in talks to yank their advertising from the Views' prime time slot in response to her adverse comments over the past year such as wars of words with the likes of Donald Trump, Kelly Ripa, Bill O'Reilly and the Chinese-American population as well as her insane anti-American comments...yeah right.....

Whatever...

Fidiots and Gun Control

I'm not a monster with no feelings...however as I sat in the floor with my wife watching the news of the Virginia Tech tragedy I turned to her and remarked, "You watch some idiot liberal senator or congressman will use this as an opportunity to further their agenda on gun control."

I hate to be the one to say I told you so, but within hours of the news report Barbara Boxer, Democratic liberal senator from California was already barking about banning handguns, and tighter restrictions and laws concerning the sale and ownership of guns.

I have said it before and I will say it again....My grandfather used to have a bumper sticker on the back of his truck that read "When guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns." GUNS DO NOT KILL PEOPLE....PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE.....if 23-year-old Cho Seung-Hui had not had access to a gun he would have still lashed out with an axe, a knife, a car, or even a home made bomb.

Now as more of this story leaks out of the liberal pinko media outlets we come to understand that Cho Seung-Hui was mentally disturbed and there were many chances to stop him before he arrived at this point. Earlier in the day, authorities disclosed that more than a year before the massacre, Cho was accused of sending unwanted messages to two women and was taken to a psychiatric hospital on a magistrate's orders and was pronounced a danger to himself. But he was released with orders to undergo outpatient treatment.
The disclosure added to the rapidly growing list of warning signs that appeared well before the student opened fire. Among other things, Cho's twisted, violence-filled writings and sullen, vacant-eyed demeanor had disturbed professors and students so much that he was removed from one English class and was repeatedly urged to get counseling. authorities disclosed that in November and December 2005, two women complained to campus police that they had received calls and computer messages from Cho. On Dec. 13, 2005, a magistrate ordered Cho to undergo an evaluation at Carilion St. Albans, a private psychiatric hospital. The magistrate signed the order after an initial evaluation found probable cause that Cho was a danger to himself or others as a result of mental illness.
The next day, according to court records, doctors at Carilion conducted further examination and a special justice, Paul M. Barnett, approved outpatient treatment.
A medical examination conducted Dec. 14 reported that that Cho's "affect is flat. .... He does not acknowledge symptoms of a thought disorder. The court papers indicate that Barnett checked a box that said Cho "presents an imminent danger to himself as a result of mental illness." Barnett did not check the box that would indicate he was a danger to others. (Note if this fidiot judge had checked this box Cho would not have been allowed to buy a gun) It is unclear how long Cho stayed at Carilion, though court papers indicate he was free to leave as of Dec. 14. Virginia Tech spokesman Larry Hincker said Cho had been continually enrolled at Tech and never took a leave of absence. One of the first Virginia Tech officials to recognize Cho's problems was award-winning poet Nikki Giovanni, who kicked him out of her introduction to creative writing class in late 2005.
Students in Giovanni's class had told their professor that Cho was taking photographs of their legs and knees under the desks with his cell phone. Female students refused to come to class. She said she considered him "mean" and "a bully."
Lucinda Roy, professor of English at Virginia Tech, said that she, too, relayed her concerns to campus police and various other college units after Cho displayed antisocial behavior in her class and handed in disturbing writing assignments. Hello! these fidiots had every chance over a year and a half period to do something about this nut....

If the legal system and this fidiot judge had done their job in the first place in 2005 this guy would have had a record and not been allowed to purchase a gun in the first place. Maybe if fidiots like Barbara Boxer were just a little tougher on crime instead of worrying about the violating the rights of murderers, rapists, child molesters, and criminals........this sort of thing would not have happened. The legal system had the opportunity to shut this guy down in 2005 but the wonderful liberal democrats are more concerned with slapping a band-aid on the worlds problems and hugging a few trees, than taking care of business.

If fidiots like Ms. Boxer want to point the finger at someone or something how about Judge Paul M. Barnett, or our failing legal system? Blaming this tragedy on a gun and making it harder, or against the law for honest law abiding taxpaying citizens to buy or own a gun is not the answer...

A better case could be made to outlaw cars, as they kill many more people each year than guns do....I'm also willing to bet that her security people are carrying a few guns...typical liberal hypocrisy "do as i say not as i do"....lets see how effective they are carrying flowers to protect her worthless hide...

The Virginia Tech tragedy is very sad and i hope the people that had the chance to shut this guy down are held responsible for the lack of action.

My deepest sympathies go out to the victims and their families

Idiots and Religion

For roughly 98,400 years which is when science says man made his first appearance basically about 98,000 B.C.E. until the writing of the new testament in the fifth century C.E. there was no one central religion or religious authority mainly because no one religion could satisfy the needs of the many different peoples of the world. Throughout all this time many wars were fought between opposing religions, but none including the Muslim faith have come close to the atrocities and crimes against humanity as have been done in the name of Christianity...

Basically Christianity set about to convert the rest of the world over to their beliefs and deemed anyone non christian and unwilling to convert "must die." in 1484 the Pope at that time (Pope innocent VIII) endorsed the Malleus Maleficarum which basically made it legal to kill Jews, Pagans, Muslims and anyone that didn't fit into the churches mold. The idiot church aside from the crusades, the Inquisition and all the internal conflict, they are also responsible for for the spread of the plague...by killing off all the cats for fear that they were linked to witchcraft a devil worship they allowed the rat population and the parasites that fed from them to multiply in vast numbers killing millions.

It is a proven historical fact that King James removed and added numerous articles from the bible as he saw fit. All the infighting caused the church to splinter again and again and again to the point where "so called Christians" began fighting over ridiculous items such as dancing in church, playing music in church, head coverings, and beards.....Do you really think God or Jesus give a rats ass about such trivial things? seriously? then your an idiot!

A few words from their so called Good Book:

”Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measurement ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote (speck) that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and them shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.” Matthew 7:1-5“But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words shalt thou be condemned.” Matthew 12:36,37“The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach...Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.” Matthew 23:2-3,13, NIV. These are the words of Jesus on this particular matter. The message of judging others is this you idiots: you are allowed to judge, but only if you cannot be held accountable for your own words. You cannot condemn publicly what you do in private. You cannot tell someone not to lie, then immediately lie to someone else. You cannot condemn someone else for cheating on you, when you are cheating on them. That is the message of judging not. If you do not lie, then you may tell someone else not to lie. If you do not smoke, then you may tell someone else not to smoke. James 3:1 says, Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. Why is this? Because as a teacher, especially of these things, one will be judged according to his own teaching. A teacher must be as blameless as possible because he is teaching to be so. He will be judged not only according to his own words, but of the words he himself teaches. Whatever you say, you must be also. And yet everyone of these so called Christians that i have had the displeasure of meeting are all hypocrites and don't have the right to breathe let alone pass judgement on anyone or anything...

take for example:

The "Church" has used issues like gay marriage to get people all stirred up with hate. I seem to recall Christ saying “Judge not less yeah be judged,” and “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.” No matter what the Old Testament says about someone being gay, Christ did not promote hate, and he did not promote policing other people. What Christ did promote was forgiveness and helping the poor. “Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of Heaven."

obviously most Christians don't or can't read, or obviously don't believe the so called "Good Book"

All these great and wonderful Christians seem to forget or gloss over the words of Jesus....look at what the Catholic Spanish Did to the Inca, The Aztec, The Mayans and the Toltec in the name of God. The Bible and the 10 commandments state "thou shall not kill" and yet...these God fearing wonderful so called Christians wiped these people off the face of the earth....

Look at what the Protestants who came to the new world did to the native Americans already living here....Thou shall not kill my ass!... ask any of the plains tribes (what is left of them) how they feel about Christians...or better yet ask an African American how they feel about white Christians as they were historically so friendly to or African brothers and sisters.....Love thy neighbor my ass!

Does the world have a right to get all bent out of shape over what is going on in the middle east? Sure they do...but once again look at history, learn form it, or be doomed to repeat it....

what prompted this diatribe? An ignorant backward ass uneducated non reading redneck at work did....It amazes me that in this day and age of instant information that people are so stupid, close minded, and uneducated about their own history.....I suspect this moron hides a white hood in his closet...

organized religion sucks...

Feeling Blue

Whenever I feel like crap i like to pop in one of my favorite movies and kick back...

This week i revisited a fantastic film called Grosse Pointe Blank...basically the plot consists of a character named Martin Blank (played by John Cusack totally underrated actor) a freelance hit man who starts to develop a conscience, while in the middle of an existential meltdown, which causes him to muff a couple of routine assignments. On the advice of his secretary (played by his sister Joan Cusack) and his psychiatrist (Alan Arkin), he decides to attend his 10th year High School reunion in Grosse Pointe, Michigan and try to rekindle the love of his life "Debbie" (played by Minnie Driver) that he left on Prom Night to Join the Army (Grosse Pointe is a Detroit suburb where he's also contracted to kill someone which, ironically turns out to be his ex-girlfriends father). Hot on his tail are a couple of over-enthusiastic federal agents who want to use him as an example, another assassin who was hired to kill him for accidentally killing a millionaires pet dog , and Grocer (Played by Dan Ackroyd), a fellow assassin who wants him to join an "Assassin's Union." which of course he has no desire to join. The whole movie culminates in a three way showdown. The movie is fucking great, and on a personal note I identify with Martin on many levels and it always makes me feel better after i see it.

If you haven't seen this movie rent it! If you have and didn't like it well......... fuck you!

Scary time to be an American

For those of you that think the Don Imus situation has no bearing on the rest of us your dead wrong. This guy got fired for making a comment that was racist? and Yet Rosie O'Donnell is still on television badmouthing America at every word, Howard Stern is still on the Air degrading females everywhere, and racist ass wipes like Mr. Malik Al Shebaz are still on TV spouting his own brand of hate and racism....

So they fired this Imus guy....and you say so what? don't you see what has happened? and how it will effect us all? Censorship...loss of free speech people....who is next? are your blogs next? Not to mention the double standards.....Hillary Clinton leads the charge calling for Mr. Imus to be fired and yet she accepts a campaign contribution from Timothy Z. Mosley a.k.a Timbaland notorious rapper and music producer who uses the term "ho" all the time...hypocrisy at it finest!!! and what about Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton using terms like "cracker" and "redneck" not to mention their numerous documented racial slurs angainst the Jewish community. But apparently thats ok? again can you say double standard?

Any man who is under 30, and is not a liberal, has not heart; and any man who is over 30, and is not a conservative, has no brains.

Except i would like to add this this applies to women as well...lol

Pay attention to what the so called liberal democrats are doing in Washington people.... and you will see that they are all sans their brains...

Texas Rules

First Ted Nugent Moves here and now this...

AUSTIN — Gov. Rick Perry signed into law today a bill that gives Texans a stronger legal right to defend themselves with deadly force in their homes, cars and workplaces.
Both chambers of the Legislature overwhelmingly approved the measure earlier this month. The bill, backed by the National Rifle Association, states that a person has no duty to retreat from an intruder before using deadly force. "The right to defend oneself from an imminent act of harm should not only be clearly defined in Texas law, but it is intuitive to human nature. You ought to be able to protect yourself," Perry said, surrounded by lawmakers who pushed for the law. This is the first bill-signing this legislative session by the Republican governor. The law takes effect Sept. 1. "This is reasonable legislation," Perry said. The building or vehicle must be occupied at the time for the deadly force provision to apply, and the person using force cannot provoke the attacker or be involved in criminal activity at the time. Some refer to the measure as the "castle doctrine," drawing from the idea that a man's home is his castle and that he should have the right to defend it. Fifteen other states have passed similar laws. Texas is the first state to pass such a law this year, said Rep. Joe Driver, a Garland Republican who sponsored the measure. Sen. Jeff Wentworth, a San Antonio Republican who pressed the issue in his chamber, said the law changes previous Texas law that in some cases requires a person to retreat from an intruder. The new law will also provide civil immunity for a person who lawfully uses deadly force in any of the circumstances spelled out in the bill. Police and prosecutors can still press charges if they feel deadly force was illegally used, legislative sponsors said. (Makes me feel all warm and Fuzzy Inside!)

Now if we could just find a bullet cheap enough to be used on Rosie "Fat-Ass" O'Donnell....

Something in the Water in Portland?

OK so I turn on the TV and see some tree hugging, sandal wearing, granola eating, pot smoking, left wing pinko commie bastards up in the apparent new home of dumb-ass stupidity otherwise known as Portland burning an American flag, holding a sign that reads Fuck the Troops, and burning in effigy an American soldier. OK last time I looked this was still the land of the free and the home of the brave. If it were me I would have rounded all the fuckers up and shot each and every one of them point blank between the eyes, then move on to their extended family and household pets, just to keep this obvious shallow gene pool from ever re-producing again. (OK unless your an idiot that is a joke...but it does represent how I feel towards these Starbucks coffee sucking retards, besides it would be a waste of bullets on theses fucktards.) In fact I would just like to round them up and drop them into the middle of Iran, Afghanistan, or Jordan, or some other such place and let them see first hand what it is they think they know. I believe in the right to free speech, but where exactly do you draw the line between free speech and downright treason? You would have never seen this kind of protest happen or even made public during WW I or WW II. Even if you don't agree with the reason we are over there, In my opinion you still have the duty as an American to keep up the morale of our men and women in combat. Why burn a U.S. Soldier in effigy? After all a soldier is simply doing his job just like these fidiots (assuming they have jobs and aren't using my tax money to fund their little rally). The Troops are not directly responsible they didn't ask to be sent over seas. When I see pictures like the ones taken In Portland it makes me physically ill. If it were me I would protest and ban anything coming out of Oregon just to show these dumb asses what being a real American is all about and how we all feel about their idiotic little rally. They didn't even have the guts to do what they did without hiding behind a mask! I would deport each and everyone and take away their citizenship and let them flounder in the real world for a second. To quote ol' Jack, "How dare you sleep under the warm blanket of freedom and then question the manner in which we provide it." Can't have you cake and eat it too people. Hopefully the Higher power out there will bring on the big one and the left coast will fall off into the ocean so the rest of us can get on with helping out the troops and do what we can to keep their sprits up and bring them home..

A rant I know...so sue me

What Now?

My daughter was allowed to go to town yesterday to a friends birthday party and then to spend the night. About 11:00 the mother called to tell us our daughter ran off with her boyfriend.....That was 12 hours ago and still no word. What do i do now? She has put me, her Mother and little brother through hell in the last year. Do I come down on her like a ton of bricks? Do i have the boy arrested? Do i send her to juvenile detention or an all girls boarding school? I'm at a loss and ready to give up on her...at this point she is a waste of skin. It seems no matter what we do or try, the situation just seems to get worse. I think its time for some tough love, she wants to try an act like an adult time to treat her like one....as far as I'm concerned she no longer lives here...her clothes and a few items will be packed and left waiting on the porch, and i'm having all the locks changed and reporting her as a run-away.

The Fucktards are at it again

Hope somebody is actually out there reading...

HI HERPERS:: WE NEED YOUR HELP ... The following House Bill has been introduced to the Texas Legislature by Representative Harvey Hilderbran, a Republican, who represents the Kerrville area in the House. This would affect all of those who own or possess or transport into this state a live venomous snake or live constrictor that is not indigenous to this country, (That's right, country, not county.) This proposed Bill would require permits from everyone who deals with these reptiles and will be enforced by Texas Parks & Wildlife. Please participate in this important Legislation. We need to send letters, emails, faxes or make phone calls to Rep. Harvey Hildebran as well as the members on this Committee. We also need to contact the House Representatives and Senators in our area, as well as the Governor, Lt. Governor and Speaker of the House. IF YOU HAVE PHOTOS OF YOUR CHILDREN HOLDING SNAKES (A LITTLE BALL PYTHON OR BOA) THAT IS NON-NATIVE TO THIS COUNTRY, PLEASE ATTACH THEM. 4. NON-TEXAS RESIDENTS For those of you who reside outside of Texas, please send your letter, email, faxes to the Members of the above committee for House Bill 1309. This is just as important for you. If you attend any reptile shows in Texas, this could create a lot of problems and high costs, as no-doubt, the out-of-state residents will have to pay a higher permit fee. This also pertains to those of you who transport into Texas.
5. SAMPLE LETTER This is a sample letter that you can send to the legislators. You can add or delete the contents, and add any other comments you may have. Remember, send us a copy and include photos if you have any. We need to act fast on this! Dear Representative / Senator / Governor / Lt. Governor / Speaker of the House __________________ We are a group of hobbyists who keep reptiles and we vehemently oppose your pending legistation, HB 1309. We feel our rights to house or purchase ANY reptiles, whether indigenous or not to this country, should be without restraints or dictated by law. We are professionals, zoo curators, students, animal care technicians, breeders and hobbyists, plus we are represented by people from all walks of life. The impending legislation HB 1309, would prohibit our passion and life long endeavor for caring or studying reptiles. This affects not only Texas residents, but people from other states or countries who bring non-native Texas snakes into Texas. Did you ever stop to think that many children and adults who are allergic to dogs and cats have found an alternative with snakes and other reptiles? In fact, one of the most popular beginner snakes is the Ball Python which comes from Central Africa. Ball Pythons are a small species, are very hearty and require minimal care, as opposed to dogs and cats. Plus, we know of no one who is allergic to snakes and other reptiles! What is your agenda behind this H.B. 1309? Who are the constituents who asked you to present this Bill? We are a huge group of voters and we want our voices to be heard. Your name Your address Your county (if in Texas)

Another Year Older

Well October 30th is here again which means I'm another year older....we won't say how old because at the moment I'm really feeling it (My age that is). Van Halen was inducted into the Hall of Fame and only Sammy, and Michael bothered to show up, not to mention the also inducted a rapper WTF? it's called the ROCK-N-ROLL hall of fame. Black Sabbath has gotten back together minus Bill Ward and Ozzy. They have released three new studio tracks with Dio at the Helm. I'm a huge Sabbath Fan and as much as i hate to admit it, the Dio years musically speaking were better than those with Ozzy. I often think i was born during the wrong era, (why you ask) well I seem to enjoy things from a bygone era. I recently decided to start a collection of Walking sticks, Canes, and Sword Canes. It's funny how in other countries it is OK for a man to carry a cane at any age but here in America if your not retired and carry one your either gay, or an entertainer, or both...lol. I have purchased four so far, two of which are Sword canes. One is a very simply black shaft with a stainless chromed knob and a cruciform poniard style blade. The other is kind of cheesy with a skull head and your ordinary double edged blade. Waste of money probably but i think they are cool and you never know i might actually need them one day. I used to wish I could be John Steed from the Avengers...lol I'm ranting at this point oh well its close to 2 a.m. and my birthday, I guess I'm allowed. Also I stand up when women leave a table, open doors etc. and you wouldn't believe the looks I get when I do this, it's like I had bees on my face or something. (My Mother raised me right in that respect i suppose) and I love clothes from the 20's and 40's. Ah well...
Man I hope there are brownies when I get up in the morning, that and some new socks...lol

OMG!

OK so i finally decided (after a lot of internal conflict and soul searching) to take my fifteen year old daughter to the clinic for a check-up and to have her put "on birth control", talk about a scary prospect! I decided better safe than sorry! While she claims to still be a virgin she has gotten serious enough with this latest jerk that i decided i was way too young to be a grandfather. I also wanted her to hear the stats about V.D. and other various and assorted problems from a health professional (As i tend to think once i start speaking in the "father" tone she switches "off") while she was a captive audience (if you understand what i mean)...lol. While i realize the fact that she is on birth control now might sway her decision to experiment with sex sooner rather than later i finally told myself it was the right/sane thing to do. Is it odd far a Father to wish his daughter to be a lesbian? When seeking advice from my own father he simply stated that all you can do is hope that what you have taught them sticks when your not around, that you need to be there for them when they come to you to talk and to try and provide an atmosphere that encourages communication by being non-judgemental. Wow talk about a tall order.....I have told her on many many occasions that she can talk to me about anything and that yes i may get upset but that i would do my best to understand and help. I really wish being a parent came with an instruction manual, but knowing my luck it would be in Japanese...lol

Whoever said life gets easier with age...lied
